Enterprises from ASEAN 10 countries have won 1178 booths, and 6 ASEAN countries, including Indonesia, Laos, Thailand, Vietnam, Burma and Malaysia, are exhibiting independently.

He said: "the purchasing power of Chinese consumers is getting stronger and stronger, and our taste is getting higher and higher. Our products will only have a way out in the Chinese market only if they become high-end brands."


At the China ASEAN Expo, all kinds of food such as rice, fruit, coffee, juice and so on were placed in the prominent position of the exhibition hall, attracting various exhibitors to compete for the order.

Brunei businessman, noir, runs a halal food and health care product company. He has many factories in China. His purpose is to find more Chinese enterprises to brand his products "made in China".

"The Chinese market has great potential. If we can find more suitable Chinese enterprises to produce for me, my product will not only be more competitive internationally, but also lay the foundation for the full entry into the Chinese market," noer said.


China's vast educational and training market has been eyed by ASEAN educational institutions.


According to the data released by the Consulate General of Thailand in Kunming, the number of Chinese students currently studying in Thailand has reached more than 9000, an increase of nearly 10 times that of 2001. China has become Thailand's largest source country for foreign students.


MaeFahLuang University in Chiang Rai, Thailand, has enrolled 60 Chinese students this year.

On this year's China ASEAN Expo, the assistant principal of the school, Mrs. Luo cotton, hopes to find a partner in China and set up an admissions office.

"We can provide higher education for Thai, international trade, law and other majors, and train talents for Sino Thai economic and trade exchanges," she said.


Zhang Caihong, Assistant Secretary General of the global business department of Singapore Federation of industry and commerce, said Singapore has unique experience in urban planning and development. One of the purposes of this Expo is to look for Chinese cities that want to learn from Singapore, especially small and medium-sized cities in China.

"We can train more talents for urban planning and construction for China's local governments."

She said.


At the annual China ASEAN Expo, wooden products from Vietnam, Kampuchea, Burma and other countries always occupy a large exhibition area.

The representative of Kampuchea CTY resources investment company, Luo ye, said that Southeast Asian countries are rich in forest resources. Chinese market demand for wood furniture such as mahogany, pear and Phoebe nanmu is very strong. "We plan to invest in factories in Yunnan and Guangxi respectively, and import wood from Burma, Kampuchea and Vietnam to China, and then process them according to China's market demand".
