In March 26, 2008, the European Commission issued a notice that the leather cotton shoes and boots originally made in China will expire in October 7, 2008. The interested parties should file an application to the European Commission to review the sunset anti-dumping proceedings within 3 months from March 26, 2008 to maturity. In July 7, 2005, the European Commission launched anti-dumping investigation procedures for leather shoes originating in China. In October 6, 2006, the EU made a definitive final ruling on the case: 9.7% to 16.5% anti-dumping duties on Chinese enterprises for a period of 2 years.
