Yantai Wanhua Launched Long-Term Corporate Caring Action

After the Wenchuan earthquake in Sichuan, the SASAC set up a leading group of caring donations for the earthquake relief work, and actively organized and coordinated 17 city management enterprises and holding enterprises in our city to participate in the donation activities for earthquake stricken areas.

In May 19th, the SASAC organized the Yantai City Port Group Co., Ltd., Yantai Wanhua Group Co., Ltd., Yantai Zhangyu Group Co., Ltd., Yantai Electric Power Development Co., Ltd., foreign economic and Trade State Holding Co., Ltd., Yantai Transportation Group Co., Ltd., spandex Group Co., Ltd., Yantai ice group Co., Ltd., Yantai Dongfang Electronic Group Co., Ltd., electromechanical State Holding Co., Ltd., International Airport Group Co., Ltd. and other municipal management enterprises and holding company's donation donation ceremony for earthquake relief, and contributed to a new upsurge in the work of donation.

After the donation of 800 thousand yuan, Wanhua Group started the action of "long-term care of enterprises", and donated the green building materials worth 2 million yuan to the disaster areas, including polyurethane external wall insulation materials and ecological environmental desks, etc., and used in the construction of primary schools in disaster areas.

The company will also take an active part in post disaster psychological reconstruction work. The sunshine Wanhua foundation, jointly established by the National Children's fund and sunshine Volunteer Association (China's first private bone marrow bank), sends psychological experts and volunteers in batches to help them get out of the disaster.

Zhang Yu donated $1 million to the Red Cross Society of China for a donation of 500 thousand yuan and accumulated 1 million 500 thousand yuan.

Foreign trade holding company donated 834 thousand and 800 yuan.

Yantai electric power development company has donated 500 thousand yuan with relatively few personnel.
