 Yang Shibin also expressed his views on cotton farmers' direct subsidy. He pointed out that because of the Khmer price difference, although China's cotton yield per mu is the highest in the world, its competitiveness is not as competitive as that of the United States, Australia or even India, Bangladesh and Pakistan. He hopes to implement the Cotton Subsidy Policy as soon as possible and solve the Khmer price difference as soon as possible. 
 Xu Wenying, vice president of the China Textile Industry Federation, pointed out that the establishment of a scientific and reasonable cotton management system can not only protect cotton farmers' enthusiasm for planting cotton, but also reduce the cost pressure of cotton spinning enterprises to use domestic cotton.
