Shoe Companies Recruit Large Numbers Of Migrant Workers To Ease Employment Pressure

In February 13th, the recruitment notice of Jiaozuo cotton beating Shoe Co., Ltd. in Wenxian County attracted many nearby migrant workers to come to register.

In the footwear industry of Wenxian County, like the red cotton shoes industry, there are nearly 30 Enterprises above Designated Size, which are much more favored by returning migrant workers, plus some small-scale enterprises and family shoe making workshops. The whole county shoe industry will provide more than 2000 jobs for migrant workers returning home.

Since last year, affected by the financial crisis, the footwear industry in Wenxian County is facing many difficulties and is in a predicament.

Under the guidance of the local Party committee and government, the footwear industry in Wenxian County has vigorously readjust its industrial structure. A large number of new technologies, new processes and new styles have been launched successfully, including PVC blowing shoes, EVA shoes and so on.

With the adjustment of the footwear industry structure, the demand for labor has been increased.

Since January this year, the demand for shoemaking enterprises in this county has exceeded 2000, effectively relieving the pressure of re employment of migrant workers in the county.
