On the morning of June 16, 2023 Northeast Asia (Jilin Yanbian) Textile and Clothing Fair was held in Yanji, with 63 enterprises from Shenzhen, Shijiazhuang, Dandong, Changchun, Liaoyuan and Yanbian Prefecture participating.

During the exhibition period, there will also be a series of promotional activities and the release of national brands of Yanbian Korean costumes.

"At this fair, we brought traditional court clothes, modern improved clothes, children's clothes and other Korean national costumes designed by ourselves to the exhibition, hoping that more people can understand our national culture." At the fair, Yu Yulan, a representative inheritor of Korean traditional costumes, a national intangible cultural heritage, took her own brand "Embroidery Beauty" to the exhibition, She was very happy to participate in the fair and hoped that through this platform, more people across the country could see, understand and like Yanbian's Korean costumes.

"In this exhibition, we focus on national enterprises, promote national clothing and further promote the clothing industry of Yanbian Prefecture by virtue of the platform of the fair." Qin Zhengyan, director of the Industry Development Department of the Yanbian Prefecture Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, said that the Yanbian Prefecture Party Committee and the prefecture government attach great importance to the development of the textile and clothing industry. Since the "13th Five Year Plan", The "Northeast Asia Garment Processing Industrial Belt" is distributed along the border areas. After years of rapid development, by the end of 2022, there are 33 enterprises above designated size in the prefecture, with an industrial scale of 4 billion yuan.
